Eyes and eye appendages (H00-H59).
- Blindness of the affected eye (3% of cases).
- Visual impairment (visual acuity/visual acuity ≥ 1 in 11% of cases).
Psyche – nervous system (F00-F99; G00-G99)
- Multiple sclerosis (MS) – approximately 50% of patients with typical optic neuritis develop multiple sclerosis within 15 years.
