Actimel® after taking antibiotics
As mentioned above, some antibiotics interact with dairy products, which prevents proper absorption of the active substance. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about possible interactions when you prescribe them, and keep to the intervals between dairy products and antibiotic intake to ensure optimal treatment. Often this can also be found in the package insert.
