Sulphur as globules

If sulfur is to be administered as globules, potency C15 is recommended in most cases: It is used for skin diseases such as boils, acne, eczema and itching due to inflammation of the skin. It is then usually taken once a week. To treat colds, the frequency of intake is increased to up to four times a week.

Also with rheumatic illnesses sulfur can help, here the income of three globules takes place once a day. With heart weakness and frequently recurring or chronically existing cystitis sulfur C15 is taken once in the week. If diarrhoea is to be treated, it is also recommended to take three globules of C15 per day.

Inflammatory bowel diseases also belong to the spectrum of sulfur, even if the treatment here should be mainly complementary to the prescribed medication. In addition, the potencies C9 and C30 are frequently used with sulfur. Precisely because sulfur has such a wide range of applications as a homeopathic remedy, a trained homeopath or alternative practitioner should always be consulted for exact dosage.

Use in children

Homeopathic remedies can be applied according to the so-called drug picture: this means that people who require a certain drug have certain characteristics. These properties are then treated according to the homeopathic principle of “like with like”, i.e. with substances that cause the same properties or symptoms. A certain picture of a medicine is revealed in the child: this describes children who seem to be hungry all the time, who virtually gobble down their food and watch other people eat with envy.

Sulfur is also suitable for small children who “trample themselves free” at night, i.e. who constantly kick the blanket away. In addition, sulfur can also be applied to children in its general (large) spectrum of effects. This means that infectious diseases in children can be treated with sulfur in a supportive manner. The typical childhood diseases such as chickenpox are worth mentioning here, but otherwise also any other disease or infection that is accompanied by fever.
