After taking antibiotics

Kijimea® Irritable Bowel can be used after taking antibiotics. The antibiotic often kills bacteria in the intestine, which are necessary for normal digestive function. In the consequence it can come to complaints such as diarrhea or Blähungen.

Often the symptoms are only temporary and subside by themselves. Taking Kijimea® Irritable Bowel cannot accelerate the recovery of the intestinal flora. Instead, the bacterial cultures lie down on the intestinal mucosa like a symbolic plaster and calm it down, causing the symptoms to subside. Caution is required if very severe and foul-smelling or slimy diarrhea occurs after taking antibiotics. In such a case a doctor should be contacted promptly.

Kijimea® Irritable Bowel Capsules

Kijimea® Irritable Bowel Capsules contain only the bacterial strain Bifidobacterium bifidum MIMb75 as the active ingredient. The actual active ingredient is the so-called lipoprotein BopA, which is produced by the bacteria as soon as they have settled in the intestine. The product Kijimea® Irritable Bowel is advertised as being effective by placing itself “like a plaster” on the wall of the bowel and covering the smallest cracks and injuries so that they can heal.

The bacteria contained in the product produce the so-called lipoprotein BopA. This attaches itself to the intestinal wall, covers the micro-injuries and thus calms the intestinal tract, which is why the symptoms subside. No side effects are known or expected from taking Kijimea® Irritable Bowel.

Some people report that after taking it, they initially feel an increase in symptoms such as diarrhea. However, it is not possible to say for sure whether this is actually due to the product. If after taking the capsules you feel an increased discomfort or indisposition, it is not advisable to continue taking the product.

An interaction of Kijimea® Irritable Bowel with other drugs is not expected. The capsules contain only bacteria and vitamins and no other additives. Therefore interactions are excluded.

Contraindications

There are basically no direct contraindications for which Kijimea® Irritable Bowel should not be taken. However, if you notice that you are experiencing an increase in symptoms as a result of taking the product, you should not continue taking it. In addition, symptoms that may be caused by a condition other than irritable bowel syndrome should not be treated with Kijimea alone. In case of very frequent diarrhea, bloody or pitch black stools or severe pain, a doctor should be consulted.
