Here heat aggravates the discomfort, cold improves. Mercurius solubilis Bluish-red color of the oral mucosa with small, round, whitish ulcers (aphtae). There is a strong salivation, burning pain, the tongue shows teeth indentations, bad breath, metallic taste.

The pain is aggravated by heat (hot drinks and food) and at night. Often disturbed general condition, nocturnal restlessness. Acidum sulfuricum Feeling of soreness in the oral mucosa, the aphtae tend to bleed.

Bad breath, a lot of saliva. Noticeable is the great tiredness and sensitivity to touch. The patients often suffer from heartburn after eating.
