Application on the face
For the application of Penaten® Cream on the face, a special care cream was developed, which is suitable for use on the face and body (Penaten® Care Cream Face & Body). This cream is also available in the form of different products depending on the skin type. It is characterized by a good compatibility and can basically be applied on the whole body.
For regular use, daily care is recommended. In addition to its effectiveness on babies and children, many adults also report a rapid onset of action after using the cream. However, application of the cream on mucous membranes (mouth, eye) should be avoided.
According to the manufacturer, the Penaten® care cream is especially effective for very dry skin by moisturizing the skin. It creates a pleasantly soft skin feeling. The cream is absorbed very quickly and normally does not leave an unpleasant greasy film on the skin.
Application on the lips
Penaten cream can be used as an alternative to the usual lip balm for chapped, chapped and dry lips. In the area of the lips there are no sebaceous glands in the skin, which produce a kind of protective film on the surface. For this reason, these areas of the skin are particularly affected by cold or strong mechanical irritation.
By applying Penaten® thinly on dry lips at night, the symptoms can improve within a few days. Many patients already report soft and healed lips after a short time. However, care should be taken that the cream is not applied to large areas of the mouth.
Application in the genital area
Penaten® Creme is basically also suitable for the treatment of skin irritations in the genital area. However, before a therapy an infectious cause (bacteria, viruses, fungi) of an inflamed, reddened and sore skin should be clarified by a doctor. In these cases, treatment with Penaten® Cream is not sufficient and must be supplemented with additional medication.
As in the area of the rest of the skin, the application of the cream in the intimate area leads to a strengthening of the skin barrier with protection against infection. Reddening of redness is increasingly reduced. Itching and burning can be relieved by the cream.
