Are amlodipine tablets halvable?
The divisibility of amlodipine tablets depends on the preparation. In the package insert it is noted in each case if the tablets can be divided in half. For example, the tablets of the preparation Amlodipine – 1 A Pharma® 5mg Tablets N can be divided in half.
Amlodipine tablets are available in different dosages, in the meantime there are also 2.5 mg tablets. If there are any uncertainties regarding the division, it is advisable to ask the doctor or pharmacist treating you.
