  • Small blood count
  • Inflammatory parameters – CRP (C-reactive protein).
  • Electrolytes – potassium, magnesium
  • TSH – to exclude thyroid dysfunction.
  • Highly sensitive cardiac troponin T (hs-cTnT) or troponin I (hs-cTnI) – for suspected myocardial infarction (heart attack).
