Ears – mastoid process (H60-H95).

  • Myringitis (inflammation of the eardrum).

The following are the main diseases or complications that may be contributed by otitis externa circumscripta:

Skin and subcutaneous (L00-L99).

  • Furuncle (inflammation of a hair follicle that melts centrally like an abscess) – must be incised (“make an incision”).

Ears – mastoid process (H60-H95).

  • Mastoiditis – mastoid process inflammation; acute inflammation in the mastoid process of the temporal bone with bone fusion.

Musculoskeletal system and connective tissue (M00-M99).

Injuries, poisonings, and certain other sequelae of external causes (S00-T98).

  • Lymph gland abscess
