AV Nodal Re-Entrant Tachycardia: Or something else? Differential Diagnosis

Cardiovascular System (I00-I99).

  • Atrioventricular re-entrant tachycardia through an accessory pathway (AVRT) – supraventricular arrhythmia resulting in a circular excitation between the atrium and ventricle through an accessory pathway.
  • Adenosine-sensitive ectopic atrial tachycardia.
  • Sinus tachycardia (heartbeat too fast: > 100 beats per minute).
  • Ventricular tachycardiacardiac arrhythmia with too fast heartbeat, originating from the ventricles.
  • Atrial flutter – cardiac arrhythmia in which the atria of the heart beat irregularly 240 to 340 times per minute at rest, while the ventricles usually beat more slowly
  • Atrial fibrillationcardiac arrhythmia with subordinate activity of the atria.

Psyche – nervous system (F00-F99; G00-G99)
