Ingredients

Bitters: sesquiterpene lactones: cnicin, salonitenolide, artemisiifolin, little essential oil.

Effects

Promote salivary and gastric juice secretion.

Indications for use

  • As an aromatic bitter (Amarum aromaticum).
  • Loss of appetite
  • Dyspeptic complaints
  • In folk medicine: as a diuretic, wound remedy.

Dosage

Rather rare, as an infusion. average daily dose 4-6 g.
