- Abdominal ultrasonography (ultrasound examination of the abdominal organs) – when disorders in the gastrointestinal tract are suspected; exclusion of malignancies (tumor diseases).
- Computed tomography (CT) of the abdomen (abdominal CT) – for suspected somatic diseases such as tumors, especially brain tumors.
- Magnetic resonance imaging of the skull (cranial MRI, cranial MRI or cMRI) – in suspected somatic diseases such as tumors, especially brain tumors.
