Occurrence of bone tumor
One distinguishes different types of bone tumors (Pluaral of bone tumor). According to their classification, there are different therapeutic approaches, some of which differ considerably. Depending on the type of tumor, there are two age peaks in the incidence of the disease. One peak is during adolescent growth and the second peak is at a higher age, so that one form of bone tumor occurs almost exclusively in childhood or adolescence, while other forms occur only in old age.
