Breast Lift

Nearly all women want full, firm, youthful looking breasts, but aging, rapid weight loss, past pregnancies and breastfeeding are increasingly eating away at the breast tissue, causing the connective tissue and breasts to sag. A so-called sagging breast is often the result. But for most women, a beautiful breast is a symbol of femininity and the progressive sagging of the breast tugs at both self-confidence and psyche.

Plastic surgery can help these women with relatively simple means to improve their self-esteem and form a beautiful breast. Mastopexy is a surgical procedure that involves lifting and reshaping such sagging breasts to give them a more aesthetic appearance. However, the breast is not only lifted, but also shaped and, if necessary, filled with implants.

Whoever decides to undergo such a surgical procedure should carefully research in advance which cosmetic surgeon can be considered both professionally and personally, because a breast lift does not only require a capable, competent doctor. Since the breast is a very intimate subject for most women, a certain basic trust in the plastic surgeon is essential. In most cases, several consultations with different doctors are advisable for this purpose.

If you do not immediately feel comfortable in the practice, it is advisable to continue the search for the right surgeon. It is also important that you explain to the doctor exactly what bothers you about your breasts and what improvements you would like to see. He will then inform you about the treatment options and prospects and possible risks of a breast lift.

However, your expectations should remain within the realm of what is realistic, as too high expectations will otherwise lead to disappointment after the operation. There are a few tips that can help to lift the breast without a surgical breast lift. The lift already starts with the right bra.

You should always try bras on beforehand and even seek advice if necessary, as many women unconsciously wear the wrong bra size. If a bra fits really well, it supports the décolleté optimally and thus relieves the connective tissue. A special sports bra is just as important for training, as the breast tissue is exposed to even greater strain during sporting activities.

Sport also helps to tighten the breasts. Targeted pectoral muscle training creates a kind of substructure for the breasts with a large pectoral muscle. This lifts the breast from the inside to the top.

There are specific exercises for firm breasts. In addition, you can easily try out breast massages. Massaging the breast increases the blood circulation and this promotes the regeneration of the connective tissue and the skin.

The elasticity of the supporting tissue increases and the breast is lifted slightly. It is best to massage the underside up to the nipples twice a day for five minutes. The care is important because all skin layers are reached.

A gentle peeling with sea salt and the use of a rich lotion or cream should be used regularly. Alternate showers are also considered to be effective, as this also promotes blood circulation in the tissue. One should end the alternating shower with a cold shower.

You should avoid very hot showers, solarium and extreme sunbathing to protect the tissue. You should also drink a lot and eat a balanced diet to ensure a balanced cell metabolism. Hidden salts should be avoided and plenty of healthy food should be consumed.

Food containing vitamin E such as almonds, soya, fish and isoflavones from fruit and vegetables should have a positive effect on the connective tissue. Another alternative to effectively tighten the breast without surgery is the negative pressure wave treatment. With this method, the breast tissue is lifted and simultaneously tightened.

One session of negative pressure wave treatment lasts half an hour and usually 15 treatments are necessary, spread over half a year. Targeted breast exercises are well suited to tighten the breast. If the pectoral muscle is trained and becomes larger, it lifts the breast from the inside upwards and makes it look firmer.

An effective exercise is the “breast press”, which can be done without any aids. The good old push-ups are just as effective for training the chest muscles. You can start very well with “female push-ups”, where the knees are placed on the floor.

Dips and bench presses are also particularly effective exercises. Also a dumbbell training can tighten the breast with different exercises. Especially popular with dumbbells is the exercise “Butterfly“, which you do on your back.

Instead of using dumbbells, you can take two water bottles and use one as a weight in each hand. Open your arms alternately outwards and inwards. In addition, regular swimming is very good for moving around and at the same time training the chest.

  • Stand up straight with your legs apart as wide as your hips. – Place the palms of your hands together, the elbows should form a horizontal line at the height of the chest. – Once this basic position has been adopted, the result is the “chest press”:
  • You press your hands firmly together, counting slowly to ten and repeat the exercise after a short break.

Sport is a healthy and very effective way to prevent sagging breasts and at the same time to bring sagging breast tissue back into shape by strengthening the breast muscles. Breast exercises such as push-ups, “butterflys”, circling arms and pressing the palms of the hands are particularly effective for building up the breast muscles. Besides chest muscle training, swimming is a particularly effective sport for the chest. The pectoral muscles are trained and this lifts the breasts. At the same time, the water gently massages the connective tissue while swimming and promotes blood circulation, which also has a positive effect on the connective tissue.
