Bubble formation after localization

Depending on the location of the skin rash with blisters, certain areas can be assigned to different causes.

  • Perioral Dermatitis: This is a dry, itchy, red rash around the mouth that typically leaves a narrow stripe around the lips and may be accompanied by purulent blisters or scaling.
  • Chickenpox: The vesicles are clear and can appear in different stages (“starry sky”). The vesicles are typically seen all over the body and general symptoms such as fever and headaches are present.
  • Varicella zoster virus: A resurgence of the virus in immunodeficiency can lead to zoster ophthalmicus, affecting the eye and face (typically only one side) with a rash.

Since the affected eye can go blind, the infection must be treated.

  • Allergic contact eczema: An allergic reaction can lead to a skin rash with blisters on the arms. It is caused by repeated contact with harmful substances. The skin is reddened, dry, scaly and itchy.
  • Chickenpox: This is a rash on the arms or the entire body with the formation of blisters in different stages, which are usually very itchy.
  • Blistering disease
  • Burns: Depending on the severity of the burn, bubbles may form.
  • Dyshidrosis: This is an eczema that affects the palm of the hand and forms small, fluid-filled blisters that are very itchy. The skin is reddened and can become wet when the blisters burst.
  • Allergic contact eczema: The skin reacts allergically to the external influence of certain substances. This often leads to redness, scaling, blistering and itching.
  • Hand-Mouth-Foot-Disease: Here eczema develops in the area of the mouth mucous membrane, the palms of the hands as well as the soles of the feet.
  • Chickenpox: Typical is the appearance of vesicles in various stages and the general symptoms such as fever and pain.
  • Allergic contact eczema: The skin can be red and dry, flaky and itchy, as well as blistered due to contact with accergenic substances.
  • Blistering diseases: The legs can also be affected by a skin rash with water vesicles.
  • Burns: Depending on the severity of the burn, bubbles may form.
