- Pulsations? Bowel movements?
- Visible vessels?
- Scars? Hernias (fractures)?
- Palpation of the abdomen (abdomen) (tenderness?, knocking pain?, coughing pain?, defensive tension?, hernial orifices?, kidney bearing knocking pain?) [due toSymptom: colicky abdominal pain.]
- Digital rectal examination (DRU): examination of the rectum (rectum).
- Inspection (viewing).
- If necessary, neurological examination [due tosymptom: myalgia (muscle pain)].
