Can kidney pain occur after drinking alcohol?
There are people who report suffering from kidney pain after drinking alcohol. There is (at least so far) no scientific explanation for this. It is rather unlikely that the pain really comes from the kidney.
More likely is a muscular pain or pain originating, for example, from the spine. But here too, there is no proven connection between alcohol consumption and muscle or back pain.
