Can the bubble be displayed?

The bladder is located in the pelvis. It can be visualized in particular by means of an MRI examination of the pelvis and is used, among other things, to exclude bladder cancer. If the assessment of the urinary tract is the main focus, the kidneys, urinary tract and bladder are imaged in the MRI.

Magnetic resonance urography can be performed with or without contrast medium. The urinary bladder is also imaged on the MRI when assessing renal function. The administration of a diuretic promotes water excretion and allows observation of the urinary tract. In general, the urinary bladder is imaged with every MRI of the abdomen.
