Cause of tensions

The neck is connected to the shoulder area. Its muscles extend from the back/lower part of the skull to the shoulder. The cervical spine works together with this area and can strongly influence it.

Through incorrect posture or strain, the muscles in the shoulder-neck area increase their state of tension. The result is pain and tension that occurs in both regions. The muscles of the upper arm start at the shoulder joint and pull down to the elbow.

Thus, the muscle chain continues from the neck to the shoulder and ends in the arm region. Many complaints can occur in the arm and have the cause in the cervical spine. For example, if there is tension there, it can affect the upper arm.
