  • Small blood count
  • Differential blood count
  • Inflammatory parameters – CRP (C-reactive protein) or ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate).
  • Alkaline phosphatase (AP) isoenzymes, ostase, urinary calcium, PTHrP, CEA, PSA – due to exclusion of bone metastases.
