Contraindication
On the one hand, Zopiclon should not be taken in case of respiratory disorders or known phases of breathlessness during sleep (sleep apnea), on the other hand in case of liver failure (hepatic insufficiency). Furthermore, Zopiclon should not be prescribed for existing or expired addictions. Also a muscle disease (Myastenia gravis) is a contraindication for the use of the drug.

Zopiclon is a prescription drug that should only be prescribed by a doctor and taken for a short period of time.
