Contraindications
- Proff® Pain Cream must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the active ingredient ibuprofen and other ingredients of the cream.
- Also in the case of allergy to other non-steroidal anti-rheumatic drugs, i.e. pain or rheumatism medicines, proff® pain cream should not be used.
- Proff® Pain Cream is only suitable for application on the skin and must not be applied to open injuries or mucous membranes.
- In the last third of the pregnancy proff® pain cream must not be used. Its mode of action could disrupt the birth process and cause dangerous side effects for the child and mother.
- Patients suffering from asthma or respiratory diseases may suffer so-called analgesic asthma attacks or local swelling when using proff® Pain Cream and may only use the drug when prescribed and under control.

Proff® Pain Cream is available from various suppliers in different pack sizes. It can be purchased over the counter from pharmacies. Proff® Pain Cream 5% is available in the 100g pack for around 8 €.
