Contraindications
Caution is advised with diseases such as diabetes mellitus and gout. Torem® may also be contraindicated in liver and kidney dysfunction. Comedication with ear-damaging (ototoxic) antibiotics should be avoided.
Drug interactions
When consuming e.g. licorice, the simultaneous intake of Torem® leads to an increased loss of potassium. In addition, the simultaneous administration of Torem® and methotrexate leads to a delayed excretion of methotrexate, a drug that acts on the immune system.
