The costs of a hymen reconstruction vary greatly. They depend on the clinic where the procedure is performed and whether a local anesthesia or, at the patient’s request, a general anesthesia is used. They are approximately between 500 and 3.
500 Euros. Moreover, the price depends on whether there is still some hymen left, in which case the procedure is cheaper, or if it needs to be completely reconstructed. The price should not influence the patient’s choice of clinic.
Much more important is the doctor-patient relationship, which should be very trusting, since the intimate area is a very private zone of the body. The costs of a hymen reconstruction are not covered by either the statutory or private health insurance companies, as it is not a medically necessary procedure.
