Therapy recommendations

  • In acute pain, to avoid chronicity, medication should be used: Analgesics (painkillers), if necessary also anti-inflammatory drugs/drugs that inhibit inflammatory processes (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, NSAIDs); do not use long-term.
  • In myalgia (muscle pain): possibly tizanidine due tomuscle tone-reducing effects.
