Criticism of the fasting cure

Many medical profession and also the German society for nutrition (DGE) are critical opposite chamfered or “welfare-chamfered”. Reason for it are the hardly existing and insufficient studies, which prove the positive effects of chamfered. Besides only healthy humans should begin such a cure, since the risk for serious side effects is otherwise too high.

At the same time a chamfering cure should cause however straight with chronic diseases positive effects. A further point of criticism is the so-called “purging”, since this term in the school medicine does not exist or can be explained. “Slags” denote metabolic final products, which the body cannot get rid of and from which one is to be freed during a chamfering time.

Medically, however, this cannot be confirmed, since unusable or toxic waste products are usually excreted immediately via the kidneys or stool and do not accumulate in the body. This effect is to be even worsened by chamfered. Positive effects of chamfered are also the weight loss and the mental well-being during the cure.

These are however effects, which can be reached also over other, healthier methods and should not stand with the chamfered cure primarily in the foreground. A chamfering cure and chamfered in general is medically in any case critical to regard. There are only few and not meaningful studies to the positive effects of a chamfering cure.

However unlikely many persons give to a chamfering cure as very intensive and recovering to have felt. One speaks in this case also of the so-called “chamfering high”. Researchers assume that thereby the hormone “Seretonin” is distributed increased and leads to positive emotions.

Also many patients with chronic diseases, like rheumatism, diabetes and migraine indicate to have reached an improvement of the symptoms. Despite all this, it is a very radical type of diet, in which artificial “starvation” of the body is provoked in order to detoxify the body. There are numerous side effects, which is why many people who are fasting want or have to stop a cure.

Besides comes that the theory of chamfered is not compatible with the school medicine, since one speaks of “cinders”, which are not clearly defined and proven. The body excretes poisonous and not usable metabolic final products over the kidney, why they cannot accumulate in the body. If a strong motivation for a chamfering cure should be present and a medical “OK” is present, then a cure can be however meaningful, since it can positively affect the psychological feeling and this plays a very large role with chronic illnesses.
