Delicious Complementary Food Recipes

If you do not want to resort to industrially produced baby food, you can also easily cook baby porridge yourself. Most of the time, you don’t need many ingredients for this: To begin with, some vegetables, oil and a little fruit juice are already enough to prepare a delicious porridge for your baby. We give you a delicious recipe for each of the different types of porridge. However, always remember that you have to find out for yourself what your baby likes and feels good.

Prepare porridge correctly

At the beginning of the introduction of complementary feeding, you should make sure that the porridge is as finely pureed as possible – this makes it easier for your baby to eat the porridge. When preparing it is important that the kitchen utensils used are always clean, so that no germs can get into the porridge.

Therefore, you should not store the finished porridge for too long; it is best for your baby to consume the porridge within a day. If you want to prepare larger quantities in advance, you can freeze the leftovers in freezer cans rinsed with hot water.
