Dental Neuritis (Pulpitis): Diagnostic Tests

Usually dental film images of individual teeth are taken for diagnosis of dental anatomy with location of root canals, diagnosis of caries, existing restorations, root resorptions, periodontium, etc.

An orthopantomogram can provide a probative overview of both the upper and lower jaws with all surrounding structures (e.g., maxillary sinuses, temporomandibular joints, etc.).
