- Do you have a family history of common conditions such as diabetes mellitus or kidney disease?
Social history
Current medical history/systemic history (somatic and psychological complaints).
- How long have you had diabetes mellitus (diabetes)?
- Have you noticed water retention in the tissues?
- Do you have any other sequelae of diabetes such as visual disturbances or sensory disturbances?
Vegetative anamnesis incl. nutritional anamnesis.
- Are you overweight? Please tell us your body weight (in kg) and height (in cm).
- Have you noticed any changes in urination?
- Do you smoke? If so, how many cigarettes, cigars, or pipes per day?
