First of all it is important to stabilize the circulation. The pregnant woman should first sit or lie down if she feels unstable. However, dizziness may also occur when lying down.

In this way, however, she can also prevent a fall that could harm the baby. In general, it is important to ensure a balanced and regular diet. Pregnant women should eat a snack every few hours to keep their blood sugar level constant.

This helps to prevent dizzy spells. They should also take care not to get out of bed or out of a chair too quickly. A sufficient fluid intake is also very important.

We recommend about 2 to 3 liters of water, tea or juice spritzers. Alternating baths and sufficient exercise also help to keep the circulation stable. However, caution should be exercised, especially in advanced pregnancy.

Exercise or sport should be very gentle and not strenuous. It is just a matter of getting the circulation going a little. Sufficient rest breaks are an absolute must!

As a rule, a feeling of dizziness during pregnancy, especially at the beginning of the pregnancy, is something normal. In most cases the dizziness subsides after the first trimester, so that the rest of the pregnancy is more pleasant.
