Dosage for acute complaints
For acute damages, such as an injury or contusion, different dosage recommendations apply than for chronic diseases. In the acute condition, Traumeel S can be taken every 1-2 hours, but not more than 8 valley beds per day. Children from 2 – 6 years should be given one tablet every 1-2 hours, with a maximum of 6 tablets per day. Children from 6 years of age proceed in the same way as adults and may take up to 8 tablets daily. If the symptoms subside, Traumeel S can be taken less frequently or discontinued completely
Price
In contrast to prescription drugs, the legislator has not fixed the price of over-the-counter drugs. This means that each pharmacy sets the price of Traumeel S tablets itself and prices differ between pharmacies. Traumeel S tablets are sold in 2 package sizes.
Packs of 50 tablets usually cost between 6 and 15 euros, packs of 250 tablets between 25 and 40 euros. Often, drugs are offered at lower prices in online pharmacies. However, due to the high delivery costs, an online purchase is usually only worthwhile if several drugs are purchased at the same time.
Traumeel S tablets and alcohol
In principle, no interactions are known between Traumeel and alcohol that lead to acute disorders. However, in homeopathy it is generally accepted that the simultaneous intake of medicines and stimulants such as alcohol, coffee or cigarettes can have a negative effect. Therefore, it is not recommended to take alcohol and Traumeel in a timely manner.
