Duration of the anaesthesia

With good communication within the surgical team and short-acting anesthetics, the patient can wake up with the closure of the wound and the ventilation can be stopped. In this case, the evacuation only takes a few minutes. However, this is only the optimum case.

Especially in the case of larger operations, the time needed for the removal of the wound can be longer. An unexpected termination of the operation can lead to very long drainage times, as some medications are still effective for too long. An exact prognosis is not possible, as every body reacts differently to the anaesthetic drugs. Our next article could also be interesting for you: After-effects of anesthesia

How can homeopathy support the elimination?

Some patients are helped in the wake-up phase by homeopathic remedies. This should reduce postoperative nausea and ease pain. The actual delivery of the anesthesia cannot be influenced by homeopathy.

In the post-operative period, i.e. after the drainage, there are some remedies that are supposed to alleviate the consequential damage of the operation and detoxify the body from the anaesthetics. As the anaesthetics are already broken down by the body in the excretion phase or are breathed out, the effect is not proven. Would you like to know more about this topic?
