Duration | Pain of the uterus

Duration

The duration of uterine pain depends entirely on the underlying disease. Pain after an operation does not usually last longer than a few weeks after the operation. However, if the pain is due to endometriosis, for example, the pain will continue until the condition is adequately treated.A doctor should be consulted immediately if the pain in the area of the uterus does not subside or even increases as it progresses, if fever, vomiting or nausea also occur, or if the abdominal wall feels hard and tense. Likewise, blood in the stool or urine and low blood pressure accompanied by a rapid pulse (so-called shock, which occurs when there is a severe loss of blood) indicate a so-called acute abdomen and thus an emergency situation that requires urgent medical treatment.
