- Computed tomography (CT) of the abdomen (abdominal CT) – for suspected central diabetes insipidus, Conn syndrome (adrenal tumor).
- Magnetic resonance imaging of the abdomen (abdominal MRI) – in suspected central diabetes insipidus, Conn syndrome.
- Abdominal ultrasonography (ultrasound examination of the abdominal organs) – if renal or liver changes are suspected.
- Thyroid sonography (ultrasound examination of the thyroid gland)/scintigraphy – if thyroid disease is suspected.
