- Differential blood count
- Thyroid parameters – TSH, fT3, fT4; thyroid autoantibodies.
- Allergy tests – eg epicutaneous test (synonyms: patch test, patch test), prick test.
- Smear – in case of persistent lacrimation or suspected infectious blepharitis (inflammation of the eyelid margin).
