If you are always tired, this may well be due to an incorrect or inadequate diet. The body needs certain ingredients of food to create optimal metabolic conditions. Various substances are particularly essential for blood formation, for example iron and vitamin B12.

Both substances are needed for the formation of red blood cells. Iron is contained in the red blood pigment (haemoglobin) and is responsible for oxygen binding. In the case of an iron deficiency, there is therefore too little haemoglobin and the oxygen transport is not sufficient to supply all organs and tissues adequately.

The result is fatigue. Vitamin B12 deficiency also leads to anaemia. A classic symptom is also fatigue.Low blood pressure also makes you tired.

So you should make sure that you drink at least 1.5 l of water per day. Physical exercise should also be included. Tiredness can also be caused by vitamin deficiency.

Several portions of fruit and vegetables should therefore be integrated into the diet every day. High-fat meals should rather be avoided, as fatty food has a long residence time in the gastrointestinal tract and therefore a lot of energy has to be provided for digestion. This in turn causes drowsiness. A balanced diet with lots of fruit, vegetables, fiber and sufficient fluid intake is therefore optimal to maintain vitality and drive.
