The following symptoms and complaints may indicate pediculosis pubis (crab lice infestation):
- Bluish spots (taches bleues; maculae coeruleae), usually intensely itchy, especially in the following regions:
- Pubic area
- Armpits, chest hair
- Beard, eyebrows, eyelashes
- Head hair (very rare)
