Fennel honey is a preparation of honey or sugar and bitter fennel oil (or fennel extract).
Effects
Fennel honey has expectorant, antimicrobial, antispasmodic and flatulence properties.
Indications
Mainly used for colds such as coughs, sore throats, hoarseness and colds.
Dosage
According to the directions for use. Diluted, for example in warm milk or tea.
Contraindications
Not known. Contains sugar.
