Fields of application

YNSA and Chinese cranial acupuncture are particularly well suited for treating neurological diseases and pain disorders. The zones are stimulated with fine acupuncture needles and in children with laser. YNSA and Chinese cranial acupuncture are used individually or in combination with other acupuncture procedures and holistic therapy approaches. The following areas of application are particularly suitable for cranial acupuncture:

  • Acute and chronic pain of any form
  • Pain of the locomotor system
  • Postoperative improvement of mobilization and wound healing
  • Mobilization of blockages of the locomotor system
  • Nerve pain
  • Functional diseases
  • Neurological diseases
  • Stroke
  • Facial nerve palsy (paralysis of the facial nerves)
  • Spasticity
  • Birth defects
  • Developmental disorders of children

Therapy

All patients are treated with sterile disposable steel needles (e.g. 0.25 x 25 mm). The needle retention time is 5 to 20 minutes, in each case for as long as is necessary to perform the topometric check. Treatment can take place daily, twice a week or regularly e.g. once a month.

The pain, e.g. of “tennis elbow”, can noticeably subside a few seconds after the needle is inserted. This is a sign that the needle was placed correctly. The experienced YNSA doctor asks the patients about changes in their pain perception during the treatment.

The effect lasts from a few hours to days – if the needles are used more frequently, the pain can disappear completely if the therapy is successful. Laser acupuncture for stimulation is especially popular with children. The goal of cranial acupuncture is restitutio ad integrum (healing with regaining the original state).

Pareses and aphasia should be completely regressed, especially if therapy is started early. YNSA has been shown to be very successful in the following diseases: The earlier the start of therapy, the faster and more effective the success of the therapy. However, the time lag between the occurrence of the defect and the start of therapy can still generate a considerable benefit for the patient even after months and years.

The Yamamoto method is particularly effective for chronic pain. A German study showed that in 80 to 90 percent of the pain patients treated, the symptoms were permanently relieved or completely disappeared after just a single needle application. Experts believe that the YNSA can do what conventional painkillers cannot do: Delete pain from the pain memory.

Often the high consumption of medication can be reduced after treatment.
