Groin Swelling: Medical History

  • How long has the swelling of the groin been present?
  • Did the swelling occur acutely and with severe pain?* .
  • Are both groins equally swollen?
  • Does the groin hurt when pressure is applied?
  • Is the groin region overheated?
  • Does the swelling increase acutely with coughing, sneezing, etc.?
  • Do you remember a triggering event?
  • What other symptoms did you notice, such as fever?
