Hallux Rigidus: Secondary Diseases

The following are the most important diseases or complications that can be caused by hallux rigidus:

Musculoskeletal system and connective tissue (M00-M99).

  • Movement restriction
  • Malposition of the entire body and resulting discomfort at the knee and hip joint.
  • Joint stiffness in the metatarsophalangeal joint of the big toe

Symptoms and abnormal clinical and laboratory findings not elsewhere classified (R00-R99).

  • Chronic pain
