Treatment

  • Wear light, air-permeable footwear, preferably no rubber boots or rubber soles. Change shoes and socks daily. In summer, wear sandals if possible or walk barefoot.
  • In the morning and evening, wash feet cold with soap and water and rub with rubbing alcohol. Use deodorizing foot spray.
  • As much as possible, expose feet unclothed to the air and sun, the foot must be able to breathe. In summer, if possible, at the seaside or in streams, otherwise tread water in the bathtub filled with cold water. The water should go to about half of the calf.   • As a therapeutic agent with a quick effect, a simple but proven remedy is recommended: daily take a lukewarm foot bath with the addition of acetic acid clay (2 tablespoons to 1 liter of water).
