The plant extract provides a reduction in classic symptoms such as swelling, blistering, and itching. In addition, the phytopharmaceutical also has a preventive effect.

Zinc oxide

Ointments with the active ingredient zinc oxide promote wound healing and are therefore primarily used at a later stage of the disease. The healing process of existing blisters is supported with the help of ointments containing zinc. However, the active ingredient dries out the skin.

Herpes plaster

Special herpes plasters also do not act as a virustatic agent. But the covering with the blisters provides a moist chamber, which is formed directly under the blisters. Through this process, healing is accelerated. In addition, the patch is also used for hygienic-aesthetic reasons.

Micronutrients

The micronutrients zinc and vitamin C are suitable for both preventing and preventing the recurrence of herpes. Tablets containing zinc strengthen the body’s defense against viruses, while vitamin C primarily helps the immune system heal.
