Hodgkin’s Disease: Medical History

Medical history (history of illness) represents an important component in the diagnosis of Hodgkin’s disease.

Family history

  • Is there a history of frequent tumors in your family?

Social history

  • What is your profession?
  • Are you exposed to harmful working substances in your profession?

Current medical history/systemic medical history (somatic and psychological complaints).

  • Have you noticed any painless lymph node enlargement? Are these painless?
  • Have you noticed any other symptoms such as fatigue, fever, weight loss, or night sweats?
  • Do you suffer from other complaints?
  • How long have these symptoms existed?

Vegetative anamnesis including nutritional anamnesis.
