Forms of appearance of acne

In homeopathy, acne can be divided into four manifestations:

  • Acne with oily skin
  • Acne with dry skin
  • Acne with hard and/or dark colored pustules and lumps
  • Acne with worsening around the time of menstruation

For acne on oily skin, the following homeopathic medicines are suitable:

  • Selenium (selenium)

Typical dosage of selenium (selenium) for acne: Tablets D12.

  • So-called ointment face (greasy shiny) with many visible blackheads that ignite easily
  • Skin appearance worsens before and during menstruation
  • Sexually easily excitable
  • Patients easily freeze, but still tolerate heat poorly

Sodium chloratum (common salt)

  • Light, greasy shiny skin of the eyelids, around the eyes and on the forehead hairline
  • Acne pustules appearing more frequently on the forehead and hairline
  • Lean, pale patients despite good appetite
  • Quickly exhausted, often pessimistic and tired
  • Desire for salted food
  • A lot of thirst.

Thuja occidentalis (Western Tree of Life)

General dosage of Thuja occidentalis (Occidental Tree of Life): drops of D12

  • Oily shiny, impure skin
  • Often a consequence of too high protein diet
  • Tendency to form warts
  • Often polyps on the mucous membranes
  • General frostiness
  • Tendency to sweat on head and neck
