Homeopathic medicines
In the first phase of vomiting the following homeopathic medicines can be used:
- Colchicum
- Nux vomica
- Ipecacuanha
Colchicum
Prescription only up to and including D3!
- Vomiting of bile and phlegm (
Nux vomica
Prescription only up to and including D3! Aggravation of symptoms due to eating, stimulant abuse and in the morning hours. Improvement through rest. Typical dosage of nux vomica in vomiting: Tablets D4, D6 For further information on nux vomica, please refer to our topic: Nux vomica
- Morning nausea with tendency to vomit
- About half an hour after eating, stomach pain with tendency to vomit
- Cause for the complaints often alcohol and nicotine abuse
- Restless sleep, therefore early morning tiredness and headaches
- People with a quick-tempered temperament, who cannot stand contradiction
Ipecacuanha

- General tendency to vomit with misery in the stomach that accompanies all complaints
- Fat, fruit and ice cream are often not tolerated
- Vomiting does not relieve
- Tongue not covered
- Ill-tempered, irritable patients
- Aggravation of the complaints in the evening and at night
