Footbaths or peelings are also particularly suitable for preparing for callus removal.

They also care for the skin and soften the hardened and thickened skin layers, so that these can then be removed without difficulty. The application of chamomile packs, which can act on the affected skin areas, results in softer and smoother skin and facilitates subsequent removal. In order to remove the cornea properly afterwards, a pumice stone should be used, which can be purchased in any drugstore.

Treatment on the feet, toes and heels

In most cases, calluses are formed on the feet, toes and heels, as the skin is often particularly strained and damaged in these areas. Foot baths are quickly prepared and very relaxing. On the one hand they soften the skin and facilitate the subsequent removal of calluses, on the other hand they also stimulate the blood circulation in the feet and thus lead to a better supply of the skin areas. Both foot baths and peelings serve to soften the skin and make it more supple.

In order to provide the skin with sufficient care, foot baths can simply be supplemented with a few drops of tea tree oil, aloe vera, chamomile or vinegar. These products care for and soothe damaged skin and promote regeneration and the building of a healthy and intact surface structure. A peeling can easily be made from olive oil and a little sugar, applied to the skin, massaged in and left to work for a short time.

Due to the coarse-grained mass of the peeling, the dead, upper skin layers are planed off and removed. Another method to keep the skin of the feet supple is based on the application of natural ointments and fats. In the evening you can rub your stressed feet with milking grease and put socks on them overnight.

In this way the fat can be absorbed sufficiently and unfold its caring effect. In the pharmacy you can buy so-called deer sebum. It is composed of beef tallow and soft soap and is also said to reduce the formation of calluses. After washing, dry the feet well and then rub and massage them with deer tallow.
