Hyaluronic acid therapy | Brightening of dark circles

Hyaluronic acid therapy

With age, the skin also loses volume. Hyaluronic acid, which is injected under the eyes, is recommended against a loss of volume, which can also promote dark circles under the eyes. The hyaluronic acid pads up the rings under the eyes to compensate for the loss of volume.

However, it must be said that there are no long-term studies on the use of hyaluronic acid therapy and therefore the success of the treatment has not yet been scientifically proven. In addition, one should not underestimate the risk of the procedure, which is always present with invasive methods. As a purely optical measure one can also use certain covering creams, pens or concealers.

If the rings under the eyes are deepened, a light cream or concealer should be used. In case of swollen dark circles under the eyes a darker cream or concealer should be used. For a better blood circulation it is recommended to apply the cosmetics by tapping. There are also special creams which are supposed to remove the dark circles around the eyes. Here it has to be observed that the cream is not rubbed in, but only gently dabbed on.

Household remedy against dark circles

Among the home remedies there are numerous ideas for reducing dark circles under the eyes. A famous application is cucumber masks. The cucumbers in slices should first be cooled in the refrigerator.

They are then placed on the eyes for about a quarter of an hour. Finally, the face can be washed with water. Alternatively, you can also use cucumber juice, which is then applied to the eye area with cotton wool and left to work for 20 minutes.

The cucumbers have an effect on the swelling under the eyes and can alleviate it. Tomatoes are said to have a lightening effect on the rings under the eyes. To do this, either apply slices or use cotton wool pads to apply the tomato juice.

Potatoes also have a lightening effect. In this case, they must first be pre-cooled in the refrigerator. Then you try to get as much juice as possible out of two potatoes.

The juice is then absorbed with cotton wool and applied to the eye area for 20 minutes. Alternatively you can also use potato slices here. Another household remedy is to use lemon juice.

Lemon juice is also said to have a lightening effect. The brightening effect of lemons is due to the vitamin C in the lemon. The procedure is similar to taking up the juice in cotton wool and placing this cotton wool ball on the eyes and letting it work for a quarter of an hour.

A general remedy against the swelling of dark circles under the eyes is cooling. Therefore, you can also put a cold cloth on the eyes. The cooling effect causes the blood vessels to contract, thus reducing the swelling.

Other forms of cooling also help, of course. Apples are also expected to have a brightening effect. Here you can again apply slices or use the juice with cotton wool.

On the other hand, many recommend the spice turmeric for the removal of dark circles under the eyes. Turmeric can be mixed with juice and applied to the eyes as a cream and left to work for a quarter of an hour. Turmeric is said to have a decongestant and anti-inflammatory effect.

In the case of peppermint, the leaves should be crushed and applied to the rings under the eyes for 10 minutes. They should also reduce the dark circles around the eyes. These two liquids should also have an effect on the annoying dark circles around the eyes.

They are simply absorbed with the help of some cotton wool and applied to the eyes. Almond oil is also said to have a firming effect on the skin. Many people swear by the use of black tea bags with regard to the removal of dark circles under the eyes.

Black tea actually contains a lot of antioxidants, which help to prevent premature skin aging. In addition, the black tea bags are said to help reduce the swelling under the eyes. For application, the water is boiled and normal tea is prepared using the tea bags.

The tea bags are then removed from the hot water and left to cool. They are then placed in the refrigerator. The cooled tea bags can now be placed on the eye area for a quarter of an hour.

By the way, green tea and white tea bags should have the same effect. Coconut oil is also expected to have a lightening effect on the dark circles around the eyes. The oil is also said to prevent skin aging and wrinkles. You can simply apply the oil under the eyes twice a day.
