1st order
- Subtotal thyroidectomy Removal of the main part of the thyroid gland; indications are for: large thyroid gland, suspected malignant change of the thyroid gland, or personal refusal of radioiodine therapy.
2nd order
- Orbital decompression Removal of bone from the orbital wall to relieve eyeball protrusion in existing orbitopathy.
