A dysbiosis (imbalance of the intestinal flora) is often accompanied by no symptoms or complaints.
Complaints that indicate dysbiosis can be varied and are usually sequelae of the disturbed intestinal flora:
- Flatulence – often associated with flatulence (lat. flatus “wind”).
- Feeling of fullness
- Diaphragmatic protrusion (as far as no other cause is apparent).
- States of exhaustion
- Fatigue
- Headache
- Nausea (nausea)
- Changes in stool frequency – e.g., diarrhea (diarrhea); constipation (constipation).
- Food intolerances
